Today, we all went to downtown LA. We all went to the Staples center first and had a look around the area.
Lex went and watched "Batman Live" while me and Kevin walked around the area for an hour or so before going the cinema to watch the new movie, "Looper".
We watched it in Regal Cinemas. The theatre was huge and the screen was also really big. It was a great experience. The movie was also not bad. It had some really cool concepts and good acting.
After that we went towards the fashion district to go to Santee Alley. This alley is 100 blocks of shops that sell cheap items. It was not really my taste so i ended up not buying anything.
We headed back at around 5pm. Here are some pictures of Downtown.
We got back to the area where we initially alighted from the bus but we could find the bus stop that will lead us back to Santa Monica.
We walked around and before we knew it...... we were lost.
We walked and walked and walked trying to find that elusive bus stop. We then stopped by a Starbucks and used their free WiFi to look at a map.
Luckily we found our way to a bus stop and waited for nearly 20 minutes for a bus to come.
We reached home at 7.30 pm.
Could have been worse...........
