Halloween

Wednesday, 31 October 2012

Its Halloween! I have never celebrated or even bothered about it. This will be the first time i saw how crazy Halloween in the US can be.

In the office no one really put on any costumes.
There was a lot of candy though! CHOCOLATES!!!!
I also put on a lucha libre mask just for fun. It drew some laughs and attention from the staff and interns.

Anyway, it was also Freek's (intern, he has been helping us out a lot) official last day working at Side Effects. He will still hang around in the office for 3 more weeks before he flies back to Netherlands.
So we had a small lunch party for him. There were lots of pizza and chocolates.

Also, a wii was set up in the conference room so that we can all blow off some steam and play some games like mario kart and wii sports with Freek. It only seemed fitting as Freek is specializing in Games.

Besides that, work went on as usual. I started on the final map and worked on that the whole day.

At night, Lex, Kevin, John (Intern) and I went to West Hollywood for a Halloween carnival/parade. A whole street was closed off for this event. Almost everyone was in costume. It was crazy.

There were some really cool costumes and then there were just some really weird ones.

Here are some pics from the parade.

That is all.
